Pokeball Favors

DIY Pokeball Favors 2

Pokeball Favors

I was determined to find actual Pokeballs to use as favors for Luke’s party but did not have any luck so I decided to make them myself.  Here is how I made these DIY Pokeball favors in 5 easy steps.

I found these red and white plastic balls at Party City that screw open and closed and were 6 inches in diameter which made them perfect to use as the base for the favors.

Step 1: I painted the rims of each top with black acrylic paint from Michael’s.  Similar here.

Step 2: I painted the clear bottoms with white acrylic paint.  I used three coats to cover completely. Similar paint here.

Step 3:  To make the Pokeball button, I used large black buttons and slightly smaller white velcro stickers.  I found both at Michael’s.

Step 4: I Attached the button with hot glue. Put the favors together and filled them with treats like Pokemon card packs, Pokemon figures,  and candy.

Step 5: To display the favors for the party, I cut round holes into the bottom of a box, covered it with a black tablecloth and set the favors on top of the holes which held them in place for the party.
