One year ago marked my very first post on this little lifestyle blog. It was a personal story of how God intervened and healed my sister-in-law from the threat of sepsis after her year-long battle with colorectal cancer. Last week, nearly a year to the day, we got another call that her aggressive cancer had come back and spread to her lungs, liver and pelvis. She is to begin Chemotherapy via a port, which almost killed her last time. We are fervently praying for another miracle. That the mercy of God would rain down on her and that Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, would take pity on her and heal her for his name’s sake. By His Grace and for His Glory. In the meantime I take comfort knowing that His eye is on the sparrow and we are worth more than many sparrows.
Jesus said: “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7
