Karlie Kloss is one of my favorite models because of her dedication to fitness and nutrition and her willingness to share her routines with the rest of us. I often do Karlie’s workout in my hotel room when I travel and I’m short on time. She collaborated with pastry chef Christina Tosi of Milk Bar to come up with a gluten and dairy free recipe for cookies and named them Karlie’s Kookies, they ship to you and a percentage of the proceeds go to FEED, of which I’m also a big fan. Karlie has been said to have a Kookie before a workout or for breakfast so I was inspired to make these vegan, gluten free, blackberry cookies for breakfast over the weekend. They are made with honey instead of refined sugar and coconut oil instead of butter. They tasted really “healthy” though, so I doubt I’ll be packaging them up anytime soon but if you want to start the day off with a cookie, these are the way better than oatmeal.
