VBS Son West Roundup

VBS, aka Vacation Bible School, has been a wonderful tradition in my life since I first experienced it as a youth helper at the age of 13.  It’s a daytime or evening camp for kids that usually lasts 2-3 hours and serves to teach children principles from the Bible through interactive play, song, crafts, skits and even snacks. Coming from a Catholic upbringing prior to my teenage years, I had never experienced such a kid-centered Christian experience before and I instantly fell in love with it.  For four years I ran the VBS program at our church but the last two years I have not been able to take on the project.  Luckily, Luke’s school offered one! He was able to attend this week with his new best friend, our neighbor down the street.
